The Friends of Applebee Wood School (PTA) has been active for many years. It raises money for the school for additional resources, it provides social events for the pupils and parents, and brings staff and parents and supporters together in partnership.
Friends of Applebee Wood School are a registered charity. They have held recent events such as a Christmas Bingo, sponsored events, Beetle Drive, Summer Fair and a Christmas Raffle. We have helped to fund trips to the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, The Cinema and Key Stage 3 and 4 residentials.
The AGM was on October 30th 2023 when a joint committee were elected. We are always seeking the support of as many parents as possible. Committee meetings are held as and when there is a function to be organised. If you would like to be involved, please contact school.
