I am the Headteacher at Applebee Wood School and have been since January 2022. In this role I am a member of the Governing Body but as we are a small school, I am also the SENCo (SEN Co-ordinator). 

I was deputy headteacher at Applebee Wood before becoming Headteacher and am delighted with the changes we have made to Applebee Wood with support from the  dedicated staff and governors as well as a lot of parental support we continue to move from strength to strength. Although not all pupils start Applebee Wood at the beginning of a Key Stage, we work very hard to settle them into school and to achieve their full potential by the end of Year 11.

When not at school, I enjoy looking after my two children, walking my dog Padge who is a cocker spaniel and watching rugby union games. I enjoy relaxing listening to talking books, riding my bike and going to Zumba with my daughter.
