Forest School

The ethos of our Forest School Provision is to engage pupils in positive outdoor experiences to raise self-esteem, build positive relationships, develop resilience and risk competence and promote emotional intelligence and wellbeing.

We encourage this by enabling pupils to engage in achievable tasks and self-directed play activities in a natural environment which provides them with opportunities to handle risks, solve problems, co-operate with others, use full sized tools, play, learn boundaries of behaviour both physical and social, establish and grow in confidence and self-esteem and to achieve their full potential.

Thank You!

A huge thank you to Learning Through Landscapes who have granted us lots of loose parts equipment! Pod 3 were lucky enough to get the first play with this equipment and made this amazing den! No adults were allowed inside, even when it rained!

Fun at Forest School

We want to to say a HUGE thankyou to 52 Lives and Sal's Shoes who have provided wellies for our pupils so they are kitted out for the outdoors!
