Since moving back to the South Ribble area I wanted to get involved in the local community as I had also recently retired following a career of over 35 years in the Commercial area at BAE SYSTEMS.

I now do voluntary work, including helping at Penwortham Foodbank and Treasurer of Churches Together in Penwortham. I relax by walking with my husband, going to the gym and socialising with friends.

I was honoured to be asked to join the Applebee Wood School governing body and enjoy supporting staff and pupils.   My responsibilities include being the governor representative on the School Council and supporting next steps/careers for school leavers.
