Having previously worked as a Teaching Assistant for 16 years before becoming a Learning Mentor and HLTA in 2010 at my previous school, I joined the Applebee Wood family in September 2016 and now work with the Pastoral Team as Pupil and Parent Support.

As Pupil Support Worker I have the opportunity to work with each and every pupil to build solid relationships with them, their parents, outside agencies and all stakeholders within the school  community.

I thoroughly enjoy my role and I am looking forward to developing my knowledge and skills further as a school Governor.

I have a husband and two grown up sons and recently celebrated my pearl wedding anniversary and relax by going for walks and holidaying in my caravan as often as possible.

It is an honour to support Applebee Wood both as an employee and now as a co-opted governor.
